Overseas Elementary Exchange Camp

 6 to 9 years old

Greentree's Overseas Exchange Program offers a rare opportunity for children aged 6 to 9 to experience life in another country, not as tourists, but as learners fully embedded in a local classroom.

Over seven immersive days they will collaborate with Thai peers and discover how learning transcends borders.

Expect your child to return more independent, adaptable, and globally curious—qualities that grow best when young minds step outside their comfort zone. Scroll down to see how our carefully curated blend of school immersion, parent workshops, and family adventures turns an ordinary school holiday into a lifelong memory for the whole family.

What Happens in a Montessori Elementary (6 – 9) Classroom?

  • Cosmic Education – grand origin stories spark awe and connect history, geography, biology, and physics into one meaningful narrative.

  • Three Hour Uninterrupted Work Cycles – children choose tasks, concentrate deeply, and master concepts at their own pace.

  • Hands On Materials → Abstract Reasoning – concrete golden beads, fraction circles, and grammar symbols make BIG ideas visible before moving to paper.

  • Mixed Age Mentoring – 6 , 7 , 8 , and 9 year olds collaborate, coach, and learn leadership naturally.

  • Freedom Within Limits – self directed exploration builds executive function, responsibility, and intrinsic motivation.
