In 1990, selected to represent Montessori Education in Singapore, GREENTREE became the first Montessori Kindergarten to be recognised by the Ministry of Education, Singapore (MOE). Today, it has its own premier teacher training school, infant and childcare centres, in the form of children houses and kindergartens. It also boasts of a belt of schools, both locally as well as overseas, under its management consultancy service.

 

Greentree Montessori kindergarten and Children House have been featured in well-known magazines like YOUNG PARENTS, TODAY' PARENTS and MOTHERHOOD. Its Principal, Ms. Soh Chian Mui is appointed as a member of the Ngee Ann Polytechnic Early Childhood Diploma Course Advisory Committee. She has been invited to write in various newspapers in both Singapore & Malaysia. She has also been invited too talks and boardcasts over TCS, radio 95.8 , 100.3 and Malaysia's Radio 5 on Child Development and Parenting topics to share her knowledge on Early Childhood Education in both countries.
